Our Story
We design for the moment someone opens the bag.
Curated collections for the people who make every occasion unforgettable — that's the whole business, in one line. Zawadi & Co. started with a simple frustration: personalized gifts almost always meant one item with a name slapped on it. We wanted to build something else entirely.
Why We Started
Personalization should mean more than a monogram.
A name on a tumbler is nice. It's not the same as a collection that was actually thought through — where the colors match the destination, the items make sense for the trip, and every recipient gets something that reflects who they are within the group.
That distinction is the whole business. We're not adding personalization to existing products. We're designing collections first, and personalization is one of the tools we use to make each piece feel specific to the person receiving it.
It's also why we built four different ways to order — Essentials, Signature, Deluxe, and Build Your Own — plus a concierge design service for people who'd rather hand us the whole thing.
See how ordering worksHow We Think
What goes into every collection.
These are the questions we ask before a single item goes into production.
Does it feel cohesive?
Colors, typography, and design details should feel like one collection, not a set of unrelated items that happen to share a name.
Does it fit the occasion?
A bachelorette weekend and a corporate retreat call for different materials, tones, and item choices — we design toward the actual event, not a generic template.
Does the recipient feel seen?
Names, inside jokes, hobbies, and favorite colors get folded in wherever they make sense — the goal is recognition, not just a label.
Will this become part of the memory?
The best measure of a collection isn't how it looks on day one — it's whether that tote is still getting used on the next trip.
Attention to Detail
Nothing goes into production without your sign-off.
Every order includes a design proof — colors, names, layout, and finishing details — before anything is produced. We'd rather send one extra message to confirm a spelling than ship a collection that isn't right.
It's a slower way to run a gifting business. We think it's the only way to run one that people actually remember.
